Hello there!

I wanted to take a minute and introduce myself - my name is Jenna Clark and I am an operatic mezzo-soprano based in Denver, CO. I was actually born and raised in a suburb of Denver up until I was 11 when our family moved to the midwest. However, I came back for grad school and have lived here ever since! Colorado feels like home to me. I graduated from the University of Denver in 2018 with my dual concentration Masters degree in Vocal Performance and Choral Conducting and am currently pursuing an Artist Diploma at the University of Colorado - Boulder.

Although I primarily focus on classical singing for my career, I also have experience and interest in a lot of other areas - conducting, writing, dance, spirituality, and travel to name a few. In my journey toward being a whole person and musician, I have tried and failed at a lot of things, succeeded at some, and continue to discover who I am and what I have to offer as an artist and musician while trying to stay connected to my values and dreams.

At this point in my career, I am working full time as a musician, meaning all my income streams are from music related jobs, and it has been a journey getting here! Although I am still building and furthering my operatic career, I take great joy in teaching private voice lessons, leading choirs, and singing around Colorado with great friends and colleagues. I recently got married to a wonderfully silly pianist, Peder Sill, and we have built a beautiful (albeit humble) life here in Denver.

My hope through this membership area is to build community, share things I have learned a long the way, and keep in touch with those of you who are interested in following my life and career. This life can be a lonely one with travel, practice, hard hard work, and periods of discouragement which, in my experience, proves to me more and more that we need each other.
